(The Root) — Harlem, N.Y., rapper Azealia Banks is not a newcomer to Twitter controversy. It can be argued that Banks' Twitter rants have defined her career more than her music. On Wednesday, the 22-year-old star took to Twitter to defend appropriation of black culture by white artists. "So white people reappropriating black culture isn't really reappropriating. When black culture is already appropriated white culture. You get it?"
