The Hollywood Walk of Fame is home to some of the most fascinating personalities in entertainment history. However, we’re willing to bet none of them has lived a more interesting life than Parliament Funkadelic’s George Clinton. Now that the day has finally come, the only question is will his star look like the others, or will it be multicolored and much cooler than the rest.

It’s wild that percussionist and singer Sheila E. is just now getting a star on the Walk of Fame. She inspired countless young women to become musicians and was one of the contributors who helped shape Prince’s sound. Watching her play percussion is truly watching andartistic master at work. She’s one of one. And if you put “The Glamorous Life” on in a club now, it still hits.
Tupac Shakur
As one of the most influential artists in music history, Tupac was recognized for his work as a musician and actor. His long overdue honor was accepted by his sister Sekyiwa “Set” Shakur.
Chris “Ludacris” Bridges
Luda received his star for motion pictures, which is a rare feat for rappers turned actors. He was honored by Queen Latifah, LL Cool J and Vin Diesel; he took time to thank them all for inspiring him.
