Ciara, Zendaya and Other Black Celebs With Adorable Dogs

From Megan Thee Stallion to Simone Biles, our faves and their furry friends are a cuteness overload. Let’s get into it!

In addition to cozying up next to the fireplace, the holiday season is also the perfect time to spread love to the ones you hold dear to you—even if that includes your pets!

It’s no secret that those cute little four-legged creatures have a natural habit of bringing joy and cheer, so it’s in that spirit we thought we’d take a look at some of our favorite celeb pets who’ve no doubt put smiles on all our faces.

So grab your fur baby, a blanket and get ready to feel all the feels!

Megan Thee Stallion

Perhaps one of the most popular dogs on Instagram, Megan Thee Stallion’s French bulldog 4oe has been a mainstay on the rapper’s Instagram page since seemingly since she came on the scene. But as an avid animal lover, he’s not alone. In fact, Megan has six dogs in total including: Dos and Oenita, French bulldogs; 5ive, pit bull; Six, A merle dog; and X, a Cane Corso.

Zendaya

Described as “extremely spoiled,” Zendaya and her cute miniature schnauzer Noon is a regular addition to sets and travel for the “Challengers” star.

Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton celebrated the 12th birthday of his French Bulldog Roscoe back on October. The two have been joined at the hip for nearly 10 years.

Simone Biles

When she’s not impressively flipping across beams, Simone Biles is spending time with her two adorable fur babies, French Bulldogs Rambo and Lilo.

Ciara and Russell Wilson

Before welcoming their second baby girl Amora into the family in Dec. 2023, in 2022, Ciara and hubby Russell Wilson added their new furry son, Bronco into the fold. They’ve since also added a micro-teacup poodle named Love to their unit as well.

Serena Williams

While Serena Williams may be a beast on the tennis court, she’s also just as fierce when it comes to protecting her longtime furry friend (or son as she loves to call him) Yorkie Chip. Her previous dog, Shih Tzu Lorelai passed away in 2022.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

Posing with his longtime fur pal for the cover of GQ’s 2024 Men of the Year Issue, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson twins with his French Bulldog named Hobbs.

John Legend

John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen may have a houseful of children, but they’ve clearly got room for more love in their lives thanks to their four dogs: Penny (three-legged French Bulldog), Petey (Poodle), Pearl (Basset Hound), and Pebbles (seated on John’s chest above). In addition to the dogs, they also own a bearded dragon, hamster and two birds.

Oprah

Though Oprah Winfrey has had many dogs over the years, her faithful three are a part of what brings her joy now: Sadie, the cocker spaniel; Lauren and Sunny, springer spaniels.

Michelle Obama

One of the two Obama family dogs from the White House that’s still alive, Sunny Obama (a Portuguese Water Dog) continues to bring fur mom Michelle Obama and the rest of the family joy and snuggles.

Kevin Hart

Though Kevin Hart likes to call his Doberman’s “Badass 1 and Badass 2,” he knows deep down inside he loves Roxy and Rosco with his whole heart.

Gabrielle Union is not only a mother to her kids, but she’s also a fur mom to her French Bulldog Tre.

I feel like we’d be remiss not to mention of the most beloved First Family dogs, Bo Obama. The 12-year-old, Portuguese Water Dog passed away back in May 2021 after a battle with cancer.

Honorable Mention: Sherri Shepherd and Lexi

Just before the Thanksgiving holiday, eponymous daytime talk show host Sherri Shepherd had to say goodbye to her longtime pet Lexi, a Cane Corso Italian Mastiff, after she discovered she was severely ill. In addition to posting about the dog regularly on her personal Instagram, Shepherd took the time to bid her baby goodbye on her show back in November.
