Health care company Amerigroup is currently looking for an IT application analyst in the Virginia Beach, Va., area. Amerigroup's IT analyst is responsible for researching and evaluating third-party and proprietary software, information systems and other IT components for the company. The entry-level position is also in charge of finding and implementing IT solutions for the company while maintaining the company's current tech platforms.
Prospective candidates should have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or a level of experience equivalent to that of a computer science graduate. In addition, candidates should be competent in an array of technical skills, such as coding and hardware infrastructure.
