Sean “Diddy” Combs is finally responding to Shyne Barrow, a former Bad Boy signee turned Leader of the Opposition in the Belize House of Representatives.
If you’ll remember, we told you back in September how Barrow had been speaking out about the disgraced Bad Boy mogul amid his federal indictment. Barrow was the one who allegedly took the fall for Diddy for the the infamous 1999 nightclub shooting which resulted in him serving nine years in prison. Though Barrow had been out of the spotlight ever since he got out, thanks to all of Diddy’s new legal troubles and an upcoming Hulu documentary centered around Barrow and how he turned his life around, the Belizean politician is now airing out Diddy.

Most recently, in a conversation with Stephen A. Smith, Barrow maintained that Diddy destroyed his life in regards to the shooting and called him a “creep” and “the devil.” He also claimed he was the “sacrificial lamb” in Diddy’s “demonic plot.”
Now, it seems like Diddy’s had enough of Barrow’s talk and is now responding.
“Mr. Combs categorically denies Mr. Barrow’s allegations, including any suggestion that he orchestrated Mr. Barrow to ‘take the fall’ or ‘sacrificed’ him by directing witnesses to testify against him. These claims are unequivocally false,” a rep for Diddy said in a statement to TMZ.
He continued, “Mr. Combs was acquitted of all charges related to the 1999 Club New York incident and has consistently maintained his innocence. He cannot accept or condone any characterization of his actions as ‘demonic’ or ‘malicious.’”
The rep went on to say that Diddy wishes nothing but continued success for Barrow and all his endeavors and finds it unfortunate that he’s bringing up past drama. Their hope is that “responsible journalism will weigh both the established legal outcomes and Mr. Combs’ positive, longstanding support for those he has worked with.”
