Another day, another rumored celebrity fashion endeavor. This week, rumblings have been afoot (thanks to TMZ) that our favorite crooning nerd, Pharrell Williams, has trademarked âGirlâ for use in a future fashion venture. Hmmm…
Of course, this wouldnât be entirely new territory for the producer, composer and erstwhile crooner-rapper; his collaboration with Adidas Originals has been going strong for years now, albeit running into some controversial territory with his latest collection, inspired by the color-saturated Indian celebration Holi. [Editorâs note: Too bad, because beyond the understandable claims of cultural appropriation, the collectionâs kind of banging.]

But for those of you who might argue that Pharrellâs gorgeous wife, former model Helen Lasichanh, will likely be the muse/co-designer of any potential line, letâs honestly consider whether everyone (or anyone but her) can truly pull off her look from last yearâs Met Gala:
Right. You need a certain tax bracket to pull off that look, but weâll stay tuned. And honestly, as much as we love him, if thereâs a line we really want from Pharrell, itâs obviously his skin-care regimen. I mean, we know black donât crack, but damn, Blacula…
