Michelle Williams and Chad Johnson Call It Quits

Michelle Williams said yes, but alas, Jesus said no—and she and now former fiancé Chad Johnson have called it quits.

After a relationship has ended, it has become social media protocol to announce your unfortunate relationship demise with some form of inspirational quotes to the tune of “I can do bad all by myself/I’m a strong black man/woman who doesn’t need anyone.” Keeping that same energy, Williams took to the Instagram to announce her breakout from Mexican food connoisseur and pastor Chad Johnson.

In her now-deleted IG post, Williams stated “I still remain fearless. I guess I still remain single. Things didn’t work out.” Williams, who is recovering from depression, also states “The healing that needs to take place is a must! I don’t wanna destroy another relationship. Blessings to him, his family and ministry. #FEARLESS.”

Williams and Johnson’s love was on display for all to see on their OWN special and each episode revealed some red flags that obviously didn’t lead to happily ever after. We want Williams to remember that after all of the darkness and sadness, soon comes happiness and if she continues to surround herself with positive things, she’ll gain prosperity.
