As you by now likely know, our favorite regular, shmegular, degular diva, Cardi B, announced that sheβs officially a mom by posting a never-before-seen pregnancy pic to Instagram on Wednesday morning with the simple caption βKulture Kiari Cephus 07/10/18.β
But letβs talk about that announcement photo: Cardi clearly did it for the βKulture,β as the then-pregnant star was immortalized by photographer Jora Frantzis in a flower-filled image, wearing nothing but her tattoos, a glorious mane of naturally textured hair and gold jewelryβher dangling earrings and armfuls of bangles (by Dylan Lex and The Ivy Showroom, respectively) only eclipsed by her massive pear-shaped, diamond engagement ring.

Cardiβs key makeup artist Erika Laβ Pearl generously gave the intel on the look, which was created in tandem with key hairstylist Tokyo and stylist Kollin Carter, who dressed Cardi in a custom skirt by Project Runway alum Michael Costello for a second shot.
But since fashion clearly wasnβt the focus here (though weβd love more details on where to acquire that hair), weβre going to skip to that flawless makeup look, which LaβPearl created using products almost entirely from the super-affordable BH Cosmeticsβwhich is currently having a massive sale.
After prepping Cardiβs natural pregnancy glow with Stacked Skincareβs Dermaplaning Tool ($75), Laβ Pearl applied BHβs Naturally Flawless liquid foundation ($9.50, now on sale for $6) which is vegan, contains moisture-boosting hyaluronic acid and boasts ultra-lightweight but medium to full coverage. And though the brand currently only carries an 18-shade range, those shades span from Ivory to a very true Deep Espresso.
For extra coverage, Laβ Pearl used the impressive 20-shade-range Studio Pro Total Coverage Concealer ($6, now $4), before setting with Studio Pro Matte Finish Press Powder ($8, on sale for $5).
To create that gorgeous bronzed eye, Laβ Pearl dipped into shades from BHβs Studio Pro Ultimate Neutrals Palette ($24, currently $15), highlighting with the brandβs Duo Light Highlight Palette ($31, now $17) and then intensifying the glowing effect on Cardiβs exposed skin by using the Blacklight Highlight Palette ($17, on sale for $9). Laβ Pearl finished off the look by stacking TL3 3D Luxury Mink lashes ($12.80) from Tatti Lashes to give the mom-to-be a starry-eyed effect and applying a deep red lip.
If youβve been keeping count, that means that minus the dermaplaning tool, Cardiβs look can be recreated for the bargain price of $68βbut only while BHβs sale lasts through Wednesday (or use Laβ Pearlβs discount code, ERIKA). But all beauty talk aside, congrats to the beautiful, brand new mama!
