In case you thought the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar was cooked, think again....because it appears to have grown legs and trotted over into other artist’s territories. I’ll explain.

Just last week, we told you how rapper ScHoolboy Q — an artist repped by Kendrick’s Top Dawg Entertainment artist and one of his former Black Hippy group members — had his concert in Drake’s hometown of Toronto canceled. That news came on the heels of rumors that K. Dot’s Drake diss track of the summer “Not Like Us” was reportedly not being allowed to play in some clubs in Houston (a city that Drake frequents).
Well, it appears yet another TDE artist has run into a roadblock trying to perform in Toronto. On Tuesday, singer SiR revealed the news that his upcoming sold out show would be canceled and that his team was attempting to reschedule.
“So sorry to my Toronto fans. The show has been cancelled. We’re working on rescheduling for a later date,” the “JohnRedcorn” singer wrote on X/Twitter. He added: “For those wondering, we sold that show out. It was cancelled by the venue. Not sure why. My apologies again to those that came just to see me.”
As the news of the cancelled show began to circulate, SiR’s tweets caught the attention of ScHoolboy, who took to Twitter to poke fun at the unfortunate similarities of a canned concert between the two.
“HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAA TAKE YO ASS HOME BOY.. SING ON THE BUS ITS OVA WIT,” the “Collard Greens” rapper wrote. To which SiR responded: “They DON’T like us.”
While we, of course, can’t confirm with 100 percent certainty that Drake is behind these cancellations, you’ve got to admit it looks a little funny in the light given the circumstances.
If you keeping score at home, this marks the 50-leventh artist that’s been roped into this initially two-sided feud. The others — Rick Ross, J. Cole, Future, Metro Boomin, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne and A$AP Rocky (once again) — have all played their part in it to some degree.
Truthfully though, I’m ready for this cow to get cooked for good. There’s a clear winner and a clear loser, and somebody’s gotta let it go at some point.
