It's a big deal because the music mogul rarely tweets; he's pretty much averaged one tweet per month this year, with the exception of June, when he hit the "tweet" button a whopping six times (he even joked about his rare tweet spree). Celebrity Twitter accounts help us piece together the person behind all the glitz and glamour, giving us a bit of humanity with the celebrity. Jay-Z's radio silence has made him somewhat of an enigma.
So the Internet jumped at the chance to ask some questions and clear some of the mystery shrouding the man behind the music.
