Kevin Hart is a man of many jokes, but during Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards, the comedian showed everyone his sentimental side.
Hart received the Comedic Genius Award, and although his introduction included its fair share of height jokes from Jimmy Kimmel, Hart declined to follow up with his own jokes.

Hart, who stars in Get Hard with Will Farrell, was accompanied by his two children onstage when he accepted the award.
“I wanna thank my fiancee for being my rock right now,” he told the audience. “I wanna thank my ex-wife for giving me these two kids, who are my best friends right now: Heaven, for being the most amazing daughter; Hendrix, for being the most amazing son. My kids, I’m doing all of this for them. I’m trying to leave a legacy for them. Last but not least, my fans: This is for y’all. I love y’all.”

During the broadcast, Hart’s daughter looked as if she was saying to herself, “When will this be over?”
And others watching probably asked themselves the same question.
