The worldβs most infamous acquitted murder defendant O.J. Simpson has reportedly been diagnosed with cancer, per Miamiβs Local 10 News. Various sources told the outlet that the former athlete, 76, is suffering from prostate cancer.
In addition, Simpsonβwho previously resided in South Floridaβ is apparently undergoing chemotherapy in Las Vegas. Itβs been said that heβs told his family and friend rumors have been circulating about him being in hospice care.

However, on Friday he took to X/Twitter to share that it couldnβt be further from the truth. In the clip, Simpson said he will have βa ton of friendsβ over for the Super Bowl on Sunday.
βHospice? Hospice? You talking about hospice?,β he said laughing in the video from the drivers seat of his car. βNo, Iβm not in any hospice, I donβt know who put that out there. Simpson grew up in San Franciscoβs public housing before attending the University of Southern California. In 1968, he won the Heisman Trophy as college footballβs best player. He would later become an NFL Hall of Famer and would take Hollywood by storm by appearing in several films.
In 1995, he was acquitted of the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her associate Ronald Goldman. At the time, Simpsonβs legal team consisted of the late Johnnie Cochran Jr. and F. Lee Bailey. He would later serve nine years in a Nevada prison for armed robbery.
