As if things for Tory Lanez weren’t already bad enough, it seems that the artist has received another piece of unfortunate news.
The marriage between Lanez and his wife Raina Chassagne is headed towards rocky terrain, as Chassagne she just filed for divorce, according to court documents obtained by People. The two have apparently only been wed for nearly a year with documents citing June 25, 2023 as the official date — three months before he started his 10-year prison sentence for shooting fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion in the foot — but they separated back on June 1 this year. Chassagne cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason behind her filing and is reportedly seeking legal and physical custody of their seven-year-old son Kai’lon.
