But this leads to a deeper discussion about what many people of color experience in the workplace … your boss tells you that who you are and your current look doesn’t fit the culture of the company: Your natural hair should be replaced by a perm or your goatee makes you look too militant. Most of us have been there before. Is this cultural bias or just the way it is?
