#TLCIsGoingToJailParty Tweets Are Clowning TLC for Their Phantom Kickstarter Album 

The plan was that TLC were going to use the money raised from a Kickstarter campaign to fund a new album that they promised to release in October of this year.

Well, October has come and gone. No new TLC album. Meanwhile, their Kickstarter campaign has raised over $400,000, greatly surpassing their initial goal of $150,000.

When a fan on Twitter asked T-Boz about the whereabouts of the album, jokingly tweeting, "T-Boz, where is my money? Y'all owe me $5 for that Kickstarter album," T-Boz's response to the person sparked a social media hashtag that's dumping on TLC for allegedly taking the Kickstarter money and not doing a damn thing with it.

Now, it should be noted that the person who asked T-Boz the question has a Twitter handle that ends with "Navy"—a clear sign that he or she is a superfan of Rihanna's. And Rihanna's stans haven't seen eye to eye with T-Boz ever since she told them to kick rocks during Twitter dustups in the past.

Still, the #TLCIsGoingtoJailParty was born. People are tweeting hilarious memes and videos joking about how TLC scammed fans who donated money.

To be fair, TLC's Kickstarter page does give fans an update, saying that they've postponed the release of their album and plan to release it next year. But that's not stopping the #TLCIsGoingtoJailParty tweets.
