The circuslike atmosphere at New York Rep. Anthony Weiner's resignation press conference is Exhibit 1 for why he had to step down: Despite his dignified demeanor as he apologized to his constituents, colleagues and wife, crude catcalls from the audience quickly turned the presser into a freakish sideshow. Most notably, a writer from The Howard Stern Show, Benjy Bronk, kept heckling the disgraced politician with rude questions about his, um, endowments.
What's next for Weiner after Congress? He's "looking for other ways to contribute [his] talents."
