It seems like Nick Cannon wants that old thang backβand by βold thangβ I mean his relationship with ex-wife Mariah Carey.

βYes, absolutely. Iβd be stupid if I wouldnβt. We belong together,β he told E! News while at the premiere for season two of Wonderyβs popular podcast video series, βWe Playinβ Spades.β However, he later joked that she wouldnβt want him back due to him leaving and having a plethora of children after their divorce.
As you may recall, after six years of marriage, Nick and Mariah announced their split back in 2014. They share two children, 13-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, together while Nick has fathered eleven other children since then. When asked how all the motherβs of his children manage to get along, Nick explained that while he doesnβt have the expectation for all of them to do so, they actually all are doing so in an βamazingβ way.
βI think thatβs the thing that people might always think that it would be that. But itβs like everybody lives their own life, before me and after me,β he said. βSo I think thatβs how you keep the peace and everybody moving, like everybody worried about themselves and not worried about what someone else is. As long as the kids are happy and they have the strongest understanding, I think thatβs what makes sense. You gotta operate out of that.β
Circling back to his twins with Mariah, Nick joked that their joint parenting would βbe done soonβ as their kids are now teenagers and how he feels theyβre growing up βtoo fast.β
Of course, this isnβt the first time Nick has feigned for his ex-wife. Explaining how she βsaved his lifeβ around the tie he found out about his Lupus diagnosis, Nick called the βAlways Be My Babyβ singer βthe perfect helpmate, the perfect matriarch, the perfect mom, the perfect wife in those scenarios.β
