Olympic star Gabby Thomas took to social media to ask fans for their advice on disturbing encounters she has recently experienced in airports. In a video posted to TikTok on Tuesday (Jan. 28), the 28-year-old shared that âmiddle-aged menâ have made traveling a nightmare for her.
Thomas also said that the men have been acting âaggressive and hostileâ as well. âI need some advice right now because I fear Iâm being stalked and I genuinely donât know what to do or who to go to,â Thomas said.

âAt this point, every time that I travel, Iâm afraid that these men â itâs three to six of them, middle-aged â are going to show up and harass me.â
Thomas, the recipient of the gold medal in the womenâs 200m final at last yearâs Paris Olympics, explained that the men appear in multiple cities to ask for her autograph. However, she said thereâs been âlike 40 of them.â Thomas claimed that they also show up outside of the airport and at her gate inside the terminal.
âThey show up either at the front door of the airport, at the correct concourse or they show up at my gate, which means they have flight tickets and they get past security,â she told fans.
âWhat scares me is they have my flight information. I donât know if theyâre hacking me, but they get really hostile and aggressive if I say no.â
Thomas then said sheâs changed all of her online passwords to regain some sort of privacy. She also stated that the men have been confrontational with her boyfriend as well, former Yale University football player Spencer McManes.
âDo I go to airport security?â she asked in the clip. âItâs, like, a multi-city thing, so I canât just go to the Austin police because theyâre not in Austin right now. I donât know where these people live.â
Thomas ended the post with how much she dislikes feeling unsafe while traveling.
