Leave it to Fox News to allow Donald Trump to spew even more of his hateful rhetoric as he gears up for a rematch against Joe Biden in the upcoming 2024 presidential election. On Saturday at a rally near Dayton, Ohio, Trump once again attacked immigrants and said that the ones accused of crimes are โnot people.โ

โI donโt know if you call them people,โ he stated. โIn some cases theyโre not people, in my opinion. But Iโm not allowed to say that because the radical left says thatโs a terrible thing to say.โ He also remarked that if Biden is victorious in November, it will be a โbloodbath for the countryโโthough it was unclear what he was referring to.
โNow weโre going to put a 100 percent tariff on every single car that comes across [the] line, and youโre not going to be able to sell those guys โ if I get elected,โ Trump exclaimed. โNow, if I donโt get elected, itโs going to be a bloodbath for the whole. Thatโs going to be the least of it. Itโs going to be a bloodbath for the country.โ
Following the disturbing rally, an interview with the former president aired on Fox News in which host Howard Kurtz asked about the language Trump uses when discussing immigrants. โWhen you talk about illegal migrants โ and after three years obviously the Democrats bear the primary responsibility โ why do you use words like vermin and poisoning of the blood?โ Kurtz asked.
โThe press, as you know, immediately reacts to that by saying, โWell, thatโs the kind of language that Hitler and Mussolini use.โโ Trump doubled down on his deplorable word choices, even though it is literally the language used by both Hitler and Mussolini. โThatโs what they say. I didnโt know that, but thatโs what they say. Because our country is being poisoned,โ Trump retorted.
โLook, we can be nice about it โ we can talk about, โOh, I want to be politically correctโ โ but we have people coming in from prisons and jails, long-term murderersโฆ Theyโre all being released into our country. These are murderers, these are people at the highest level of crime, and then you have mental institutions and insane asylumsโฆ and then you have terrorists pouring in at a level we have never seen before.โ
Of course, Trump feigned ignorance (heโs been called out for his commentary before) and had no proof to back up his claims. He also took credit for Roe v. Wade being overturned and once again insisted that the 2020 election was rigged. The sad part is that this has become the norm for Trump and wonโt inhibit his quest for the White House.
