Actress Kerry Washington just shared a TikTok tribute to her “Scandal” costar Tony Goldwyn’s glow-up, posting photos of his roles before he landed the job of President Fitzgerald Grant and her character Olivia Pope’s boyfriend on the ABC mega-hit from 2012 to 2018.
Washington’s post includes pics of Goldwyn’s transformation from previous big and small screen roles, including “St. Elsewhere,” “Ghost” and as the voice of Tarzan in the eponymous 1999 animated film. Goldwyn looked a little rough around the edges in comparison to his role as the stylish leader of the free world in the Shonda Rhimes series.
As you can probably imagine, Washington’s post had “Scandal” fans going crazy at all of the delicious messiness she stirred up. The comment section was flooded with folks who found themselves getting nostalgic thinking about Olivia and Fitz’s scandalous relationship; comments included, “The scream I scrumpt when I saw who posted this 🤣🤣🤣🤣,” and “When you found your soul mate but you’re both married 😭🤣.”
Of course there were those wondering if Washington’s post was a sign that there might be a little sumthin’ sumthin’ going on between the stars in real life.
