Inside Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz ‘Iron Man’ Inspired Mansion

The views from every window over the cliff definitely transport you into Tony Stark’s not-so-humble abode.

Celebrity couple Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz not only have an ear for music but quite the eye for architecture.

Back in 2022, the two bought a La Jolla, Cali home designed by Wallace E. Cunningham which they nicknamed the “Iron Man house.” If you’ve seen any Marvel “Avengers” film, you know how sick and sleek Tony Stark’s house is. The original 11,000-square foot spot is located in Cape Town, South Africa.

And it’s true, the music duo’s crib favors the super modern look of Stark’s home with its open concept, sculptural exterior and beautiful views from every floor-to-ceiling window. Despite its MoMa-worthy design, the couple told Travel Noire, they furnished the place accordingly to make it feel like home and “not just a sculpture.”

You’ll fall in love with this place as soon as you see it. Keep scrolling to see how close the couple’s home is to Iron Man’s lair.

The so-called “Iron Man” house was CGI edited to look lonesome on its own cliff but is actually neighboring a few homes in its Cape Town neighborhood. Designed by Peerutin Karol, the home has four levels housing two different bedroom pods with kitchens, living areas and private entertainment rooms.
